Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your login session or language preference — so the site works correctly and can be improved over time.
2. Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use
The table below lists every cookie and every comparable browser or app storage entry set by Wedapt or by services we rely on, in accordance with § 25 TDDDG and the EDPB Guidelines 2/2023.

Analytics entries are only created after you allow analytics. If you decline, Google Analytics is switched off and its _ga cookies are deleted, and Mixpanel stops collecting. In session replays, everything you type, your chat messages, chat titles, and your name and email address are always hidden.
When you are logged in as a teacher, analytics also records Teacher Co-pilot interaction events (such as conversation start, AI response completion, message reactions, and session duration). These events are used solely to improve the Platform and are never linked to individual student records.
No marketing cookies are currently set. If we introduce any in the future (e.g., LinkedIn Insight Tag), this policy will be updated and your consent requested before they are placed.
3. Consent and the Analytics Banner
Nothing beyond what is essential is stored or sent until you actively agree in our analytics banner.
- The banner offers "Accept analytics" and "Decline" with equal visual prominence and nothing pre-selected, as required by § 25 TDDDG.
- On the website, you can change your choice at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the footer of the homepage and of our legal pages. In the mobile app, use Profile > Privacy.
- Your choice is stored for 6 months, after which we will ask again.
4. How to Withdraw or Manage Consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future:
Via Wedapt: On the website, click "Cookie Settings" in the footer and choose "Decline". In the app, open Profile > Privacy and turn off analytics.
Via your browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Blocking essential cookies may prevent the platform from functioning correctly.
